I have a new computer and find the canon SD500 windows 11 download is not available. How can I continue to use my camera??

Thanks for letting us know what Canon product you've got. The PowerShot SD500 is an older model which we have retired. While that means that Canon USA no longer offers direct support for it, your friends here in the Canon Community are welcome to offer suggestions!

You don't need a Windows download to use your camera. If you're talking about getting photos from camera to computer, just connect them with a USB A-to-Mini B cable. The camera will mount as a drive in Windows File Explorer. Open it, open the DCIM folder, and there are your photo files. Move them to wherever you want them.

Alternately, get a USB SD-card reader. Take the card out of the camera, put in the reader, plug it into computer, and the card will mount in File Explorer as a drive. Proceed as with the first option.
