Hi there,

I just purchased the Canon G7X Mark III, and am having issues transferring photos from camera to iPhone/computer.

I swapped a SD card from my old camera to my new Canon G7X Mark III, and I am unable to transfer any new photos taken on the G7X Mark III (only old photos). Also, the wifi connect is not working. I'm very confused - please help!

What kind of computer? The most foolproof way is to use a card reader.

First of all, do you see the new photos when you review in the camera?

Assuming the answer is "Yes", does the camera show up on your computer (Windows, Mac or Linux) as a drive when connected via USB cable? It should, automatically. May have to disable WiFi for this to happen. Then you open it and there will be a DCIM folder. That's where your pictures are. There will be one or more dated folders. Look in them for your pictures.

If camera does not show as a drive, take out the memory card and use an SD card reader, as kvbarkley said.

If the new pictures do not show up by any method, try another SD card and format it in the G7. The card taken from another camera may not be recording the new stuff.
