G7x iii shuts off

Hi!

Issue 1 (most pressing): I use my G7x iii with EOS webcam utility, connected via USB C. When I turn it on without using any third party recording software, it shuts off immediately. The display then shows a fully charged battery and a laptop. I can use it and record with it in Riverside, but in Descript it shuts off immediately. Solution?

Issue 2: When I record with it in Riverside, the audio and video are out of sync. Audio is about 0,5 seconds early. I have the latest firmware. Solution?

Issue 3: When I import video from the camera into final cut pro, it flickers. I think it's a codec issue, but final cut doesn't support the codec that canon uses. Solution?

Hi there,

The first thing that comes to mind is the [Auto Power Off] function, you can change it in the Power Saving settings in your setup menu. You can set it anywhere from five minutes to 30 minutes, and in thsi case I recommend disabling it.
