PowerShot G7 X Mark III Focus square still up while using as webcam

I recently started trying to use my canon powershot g7x mark iii as a webcam with a elgato cam link on my pc. My issue is that the focus interface on the camera shows up on the Streamlabs or obs or anything I try to use on my pc. Is there a way to remove the focus square from the camera?

You might try switching to manual focus.

You want to set the camera for clean HDMI output. See the manual page 179.
