      <title>PowerShot SX540 HS Screen Keeps Flashing</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Looking for some help. I am not an experienced photographer. Yesterday I turned my camera on to take some pictures of the kids and the screen keeps flashing, just going crazy as if someone is pushing all kinds of buttons on it. It won’t stop and I don’t know what to do. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Start by removing the camera's memory card and retest.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have another battery, test with it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you can perform a settings reset, I'd try this as well.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Let's try removing everything from the camera, (memory card and battery), and wiping the contacts on the card and battery with a clean, dry microfiber cloth to ensure they are clean and are not causing some sort of electrical interference. Try the camera again with just the battery in. Please make sure that you are using a genuine Canon battery. If the issue still persists, then the camera may need to be serviced.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
