Where online can I find if my G1x iii is still under warranty with Canon.by checking the serial number? Google has not been helpful.

That's because there's nothing like that to find. Check your sales receipt or MyCanon Account for details of when your warranties or extended warranties (if applicable) would have started.

The NEWEST version (III) of the G1x was introduced in 2018. So, no longer any warranty for you. Even if there was, it would only apply to the original purchaser.
