memory card locked error on sx620

I keep getting an error on my camera that my memory card is locked. I checked the switch on the card to make sure it is in the unlocked position, I cleaned the card and tried to format it also but none of the above worked.

Does anybody know how to fix the problem and get rid of the memory locked message.

Are you using a full-sized SD card? Or a micro-sized SD card with an adapter?

In the card slot on the camera, is there any corrosion you can see or damage to any of the pins? For cleaning, others will most likely be able to offer suggestions. If pins are bent/broken though, I'd suggest sending in for a repair.

Have you tried other SD cards?

What size SD card are you using?

yes I have

32G SD card. and the memory card I have that will not work in my camera does work in other cameras
