For some time (although she just told me about it), whenever she powers the camera up, it needs to have the date/time set. She's just been hitting OK, which gets her out of that screen -- however, as a result, all her pictures turn out to have been shot on 1/1/1980! This occurs with fresh batteries, and occurs if the camera has been shut down for as little as 30 seconds.
