    <description>Thanks Mike Wish it was that easy...camera is currently on it's way to the repair center in VA. Actually found also the Reset All menu option was disabled. Hope it's an easy fix at the repair facility. thanks for trying. sue</description>

      <description>SX40 HS - LCD screen does not display any events. Viewfinder is fine. Have i fat-fingered something and can't google my way out of it? Possible sensor problem? The lens cap is off -- have used all the display settings. This just started happening when I was off on a photoshoot -- no damage to camera from my end.
