Need Help with Zoom Sx540hs

I can not figure out how to get the zoom to go past the normal 200mm..what am I missing..the zoom moves but I can't seem to get miles away distance like I have on other 50x zoom cameras..please help

Hi there,

You can use the Digital Zoom to get farther out in the zoom range shown on page 38 of the user guide (linked below), it looks like the zoom range stops at the end of the optical zoom, then you pause for a moment and pull the zoom toggle again to get it to go out further.

Thank you so much..I was told the camera has to be on P mode in order for the optical zoom to work..I figured out..
