PowerShot SX50HS lens jammed

Dropped camera directly on lens while extended. Found a video that showed step by step tear down to get lens unstuck. That was great, however there's a ring inside the lens (about 3/4 diameter x 3/8) that's loose. Repair video doesn't mention this part. I assume it goes around the aperture at the back of the lens, on the camera body. Anyone have experience tearing down the lens?

There is a small ring in the picture I inserted, however, I do not know how it is held in place or if that is the ring you are talking about.

Thanks John, that look like the spacer that's loose. Now is that the lens ens or toward the camera body?

You're welcome...that is the side that attaches to the body
