Pictures disappeared from camera. Help!

Ok, I took pictures today from Boston's North Station on my Canon PowerShot SX530HS. I went to put them on my computer, and I did that. When I put my memory card back in my camera, the pictures stayed on the computer but disappeared from my card! What? My memory card is a SanDisk ultra plus card with 80 mb/32 gb of storage. Anyone know how or if I can get these photos back on my camera? Please help

Hey there,

It would depend how you imported your images to the computer, but in this case it sounds like the files were moved entirely from the card instead of being copied over. If your SD card was originally formatted in the camera, you should be able to see a folder in it which contains the images stored on the card. If you copy the pictures from your computer back into this folder you should be able to see them again stored on the SD card. Hope this helps!
