Next, turn the power switch to the "Camera On" position and hold it there for 5 seconds, then release the power switch. Replace the batteries and turn the camera on.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If your camera works normally, you're ready to start shooting.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the issue persists, I recommend contacting our Technical Support Team.       <title>Canon Powershot - Won't take a picture</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello!&amp;nbsp; I can turn on my Canon PowerShot S5IS and all the functions appear to be working fine.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;However, when I try to click the big silver button to take a picture, nothing happens.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have tried in other modes&amp;nbsp; (manual, etc), and still nothing.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The button clicks when I push downward but the camera doesn't do anything.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help!!&amp;nbsp; Thanks so much.&amp;nbsp; &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
