What comes with the Canon HS 300?

I bought a camera online from ebay and suspect its used. Does the lanyard come attached to the camera or you put it on yourself? What about the battery is that in the camera or outside?

I'm sorry to hear that you suspect the PowerShot ELPH 300 HS that you purchased from eBay may be used. The lanyard (wrist strap) should typically be in the box with the camera and not attached. The battery itself should be in it's own plastic bag outside the camera body, in the box with the other loose items. We do not ship cameras with the batteries pre-installed inside camera body.
