Canon sx720 only turns on if take battery out

My Canon sx720 only turns on if you take battery out and put back in but it loads up to the WiFi transfer menu. When I press the capture button it goes to normal then I power off the WiFi light is still on
Please can someone suggest

Thank you for posting.

If you're able to do so, I recommend that you reset your camera to its default settings. To do this, turn your camera on, then press the MENU button.

When the menu appears, navigate to the "Settings" tab, then scroll down to "Reset All" and press the FUNC SET button. On the next screen, choose OK, and press FUNC SET, once again.

Thanks for replying I tried reseting I'll try again on holiday at moment so repair will have to wait many thanks for reply
