    <description>&lt;P&gt;Most likely it is your battery if you are lucky. Even though a battery might show its charged when they fail they drain instantly in some cases, like in one shot. I'd try a new battery and if you have already then it might need service.or the charger itself is faulty I have the SX50HS also&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A new battery and charger it cheap compared to sending it in for service and worse case you'll have a spare battery and charger.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
