    <description>&lt;P&gt;The ribbon cable which drives the stabilizer, broke down, teared.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I could manage to cut out the vertical coil, and shortened it, it will do. {no vertical stabilisation, and vertically loose lense, especially when hold upward or downward. And E23 errors, just as it has been.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did not disassemble the optics, i guess the other end of the ribbon is&amp;nbsp;soldered, and even the cable itself is not available for purchase.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;One, most Powershot cameras [and similar ones by other manufacturers] are not easily disassembled for repair.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Two, even if it could be repaired, you could buy at least 2 used ones for the same cost to repair.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
