SX50HS LED screen won;t come on.

My SX50HS LED screen won;t come on. I've tried resetting using the display button but it still doesn't come on. The shutter appears to be working as a I can take pictures using the view finder. The LED does come on to review the photos at which time I can visually access all basic settings. However, the LED will not come on using the power, display or menu buttons, Any thoughts? Thank you

That is odd

I would try pressing the Display button till the viewfinder turns off then at that point hold the Display button down for at least 1 second

Also would try resetting to defaults thru the settings menu

And 1 last thing Id take out the battery and hold the power On switch in the On position for at least 30 seconds then replace the battery and try it again
