      <title>Powershot G7 X screen issue</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, my canon G7x is fairly new, at first everything was fine but then this one issue came into&amp;nbsp;existence. The screen will not come on after I press the power&amp;nbsp;button, when I took it out the box the screen came on and everything was fine, just a message appeared&amp;nbsp;saying no memory&amp;nbsp;card detected. Now that I have inserted&amp;nbsp;a memory card ( Sandisk Ultra Plus SDHC UHS-1 card) nothing comes up. Any help would be appreciated.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks for the reply, but I've pressed the menu button, held down on it, and spammed pressed it, but the screen just wont come&amp;nbsp;on. The sound goes off indicationing&amp;nbsp;it had been pressed, but no visuals.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;By all means yes call Canon since your camera is new and is under warranty.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm curious if you take the memory card back out will the display show that message again?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also you can try taking out your battery and hold the power switch on for at least 30 seconds then insert the battery and try again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I dont know how the memory card could effect the display but if you have one try another card too&lt;/P&gt;</description>
