Hi Steve,

I like to capture the vivid colors of the seasons, whatever they may be. I like the golden orange colors of summer sunsets as well as the yellow, orange and red colors of fall. A Blue sky with marmalade clouds ☁️ will make the subject pop. The colors of a glassy calm lake, pond or river make for memorable reflections, and I like the way snow ❄️ flakes sparkle and interact with the sunshine. I guess I'm a person for all seasons. 🤔

I got to thinking that our choices of, and appreciation for, subjects and colors might have a lot to do with the color season of both the photographer who take the photo and the audience who views it,

Spring Peach Coral Golden yellow almond, peach, lilac, and eucalyptus.

Summer Rose pink Lavender Medium blue eggshell, ash, sea green, and crystal blue.

Autumn Burnt orange Olive green Golden yellow cream, rust, teal, and burgundy.

Winter Pure red Royal blue Emerald green, white, black, steel blue, and indigo.

For example, both these photos were taken with a Canon T8i and an 18-135mm lens. They are straight jpgs with no processing.

The first was shot at around 5400K. My wife likes the first shot. She is a Spring and likes teals and peach colors

The second was taken at around 3900K. I like the second. I'm a Winter and like black and whites and neon colors.

I'm with you Joe, I like the colors of all the seasons, and those colors may be different in different locations. Where I live now in SE North Carolina, Fall doesn't have the reds and oranges like where I used to live in Ohio. I've never heard the concept of people having seasonal affiliations, it's interesting. My wife leans to the pinks, corals, peach, and lavender, so I guess she's a Spring-Summer hybrid.
