Was out birding the other morning. Didn’t get any good shots of birds, but did come across a few grasshoppers along the edge of the marsh.

Camera = R6 M2, lens= RF 200-800mm F6.3-9 IS ISM at 371mm from a distance of about 3m, f/7.1, 1/400s, ISO 500.

Thanks Joe.

Question: It seems like the image quality is reduced and it’s a bit darker as opposed to the original. Does the CC website reduce it?

Hi Jeff,

I usually process my RAW pictures in Photoshop to convert to JPEG and reduce to 75% so the Canon website doesn't need to reduce it. Also, I don't know if the Canon website has the ability to reduce pictures, I do know that it will only take certain size pictures and will not let you down load if the size is to large. I hope that helps.

Jeff,

It does resize it but when posting, once the image loads and before you hit submit you can drag the image to a larger size. Click on the image and you will get a frame with white boxes in the corners, left click and hold the white box in the lower right hand corner (any corner) and drag the box. The image will resize to your preferred size. I did it on the image in your quote.I don't believe that the site changes the exposure during upload but I could be incorrect.

Cool picture of the hopper.
