I got it in 1998 when I purchased an Elan IIe from Canoga Camera and I have loved the lens ever since. I used it with the IIe and a 7e body. Then it migrated to my XSi and T3i Rebels and most recently to my R100 and R8. It's truly one of Canon's best designs.
