The day this pic was taken, I was eager to tryout my new to me Sigma 24-70 F2.8 on my Canon 50D. As I was walking back on the trail, I was thinking how nice it would be to get a shot of the pier while people were interacting with each other. I didn't want a wide open shot which there were plenty of opportunities, instead, I was looking for a way to frame the composition to add interest to the scene. Low and behold, I saw these to trees and started framing my composition from there. I took several shots of this scene from different views and this is one of my favorites. I hope you all enjoy it.
