Intriguing photo. I like how you set the camera to take in the bank on the right and the sidewalk disappearing into infinity. We have part of the John Muir Trail here in SE Tennessee. Where was this taken?

Thank you. This is in Muir Woods, just north of San Francisco, CA. It's a beautiful redwood forest. I live in Middle TN, BTW. I'll have to look up John Muir Trail. 🙂

The part that I'm familiar with is in Polk County, TN and runs along the Hiwassee River. I'm sure a search will bring up the entire trail. Obviously, Mr. Muir walked a lot of miles.
