    <description>&lt;P&gt;I was thinking the same thing Rick!&amp;nbsp; Sandstorms would be at the top end of risks.&amp;nbsp; I hope the wind was to his back!&amp;nbsp; Such conditions are where I would use a protective filter to avoid abrasion of the front element of the lens - along with sea salt and other environmental threats to the glass.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I was indoors and only briefly opened the door to get the photo. I do have filters on all my lenses to protect them. This was barely the leading edge of the haboob and within about 2 minutes after this photo I could barely see the HUMVEE and I moved to the interior of the building because the sand was coming into the building around all the cracks around the doors and windows.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
