It’s where the action happens early in races. If you know where to stand, have the right lens and, most important, the right shutter speed. When you want to capture panning images, then you use a slow speed. To stop crashes I’m over 1/200 sec. The shot was a combination of racing knowledge, plus the right settings and a little luck.
