Favorite Local Birds

Here are several favorites of mine here in the San Jose, CA area. All photographed with 7D Mark II and 100-400 mm IS II.

These are generally seasonal, in the spring. This swallow is such a beautiful and athletic bird to me. Extremely difficult to photograph in flight except when leaving a perch, as here.

Excelent photos. Color is vivid. My favorite is the bird in flight. Thanks for sharing.

You can use the "Reply" or "Quick Reply" on any post. It doesn't get personal until you select "Quote", at least that's what I think, LOL.
