Most of these were shot with a EOS 5D mark IV and EOS 7D mark II with 100-400mm L II or 70-300mm L II lenses, but you'll have to look at the EXIF to see which. The ISS was shot with the 100-400 and a 1.4III extender. The Hoverfly was shot using the EF 100mm L macro.

I was laying on my back shooting Swallow-tailed Kites and this shot presented itself.

International Space Station. I think this was taken the night of the last moon eclipse.

Prince Baskettail Dragonfly.

Swallow-tailed Kite. These are impressive birds with a 4'+ wingspan.

Giant Swallowtail Butterflies. She's laying eggs on our grapefruit tree.

Great Southern White Butterfly.

Hoverfly. I don't know the species.

Potters Wasp.

Common Wasp.

My complements on fine photos with great detail. The first one with the airliner and moon top them all. Surprising what we get when we least expect it.

Thank you. I was hoping for a Swallow-tailed Kite to fly across it. And yes, the least expected shots are usually the most exciting.
