Since I can't go to Africa to shoot in the wild right now, I went to the zoo with two camera setups to see how they would perform relative to one another. I chose to focus (figuratively and literally) on Orangutans.

1. The EOS 7D MkII, and the Sigma 150-600 C lens - giving a FoV of 240-960mm equivalent

2. The EOS R6, with the RF 100-500 lens

First the 7DII images:

Then the R6 Images:

#3: ON THE ROPES: Canon EOS R6, RF 100-500, 500mm, f/7.1, 1/500sec, ISO-640

#4: PENSIVE: Canon EOS R6, RF 100-500, 500mm, f/7.1, 1/500sec, ISO-3200

The 7DII is good, but the R6 with animal eye autofocus got me more keepers.
