The puzzling thing is that this car sits inside the lot of a car repair shop that is open and actively working on cars, yet it sits. It seems to be 100% intact. It doesn't seem overly rusted. Given that it's "just an old Ford" it should be easy to revive. Granted, restoring/refurbishing old cars can be expensive.

Nice shot, Lee. If I'm not mistaken, that's a 1956 Ford Ranch Wagon, a two-door station wagon model. Or a 1956 Ford Park Lane, a rare, one-year only model that featured Fairlane exterior and interior trim. It's hard for me to tell but it could also be a 1956 Ford Country Sedan, a four-door station-wagon often seen in two-tone paint. The 56 models are distinguished from the 55 versions by their specific front grill and trim details. Fully restored 1956 Ford Station Wagon high quality range from $30,000 to over $50,000.

Cool pic. Poor old thing! I always want to see them restored to their former glory with a full authentic restoration. But that's just me. I dunno why it bothers me when folks take them and turn them into hot rods or something else. But the thought of all the work involved in either just makes me tired and glad I only have modern cars that I can take to the dealership.
