Nice pic. I think I would have like it zoomed in a bit more so that the very cool "Please Use Chester Ave Entrance" sign was a bit more promient. Just an idea for a future closeup, perhaps when you're walking on the other side of the street? Wide angle closeup with the sign in lower right corner and window filling the rest of the frame? Just an idea. As you can tell, I like the sign 🙂

I was stopped at a traffic signal saw it to my right and had just enough time to roll down the window, aim, and fire.

I think your idea is spot on and is a wonderful suggestion.

I often discover and revisit things, like the wooden clown in the antique store window that was to my left.

That day I was doing sketchbook shots i.e. grabbed shots of things that interested me.

Thank you for your suggestion. I'll reshoot it the next time I'm downtown.

For me looking back on shots 90% of the time I am in way too much of a hurry on my shots or have afterthoughts and want to go back (kind of hard sometimes). I'm looking forward to traveling to some great places, but also looking forward to spending more time just taking in what is in my yard and community. This was in my pond - phone pic while paddle boating with family. Blooming is over now, but next year I want to spend some quality time out shooting flowers and bugs.

I did a quick and inelegant crop in my sketchbook file to remember what I'm after next time.
