I honestly have no idea what flower this is. it was just was standing alone in the field. SOOC, except setting WB to cloudy. My first day with the Canon EF 180mm f/3.5 L Macro Ultrasonic. Maybe someone will identify the flower for us 🙂

Lightened it up a bit - I like moody but perhaps a daisy should be less moody and more bright. I could have used focus bracketing to improve getting the whole thing into focus, but I was already holding up the group and setting up the tripod probably would not have worked as it was a bit windy.

Plus, there's something about the blur that messes a bit with my mind for the spirals almost like a moire pattern. I'm looking forward to using that lens more. AF is, as expected, pretty useless for the maco work.
