    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your kind response. I like how they look too, but for me they fall into more of the "documentation" pile rather than my "masterworks" pile. I hope you see my eyes rolled as I say "masterworks". If I were really going to go after photographing them and actually trying, I'd have used a tripod etc. The flowers were out, so I loaded up my Pentax MX and my Nikon FM and headed out with my R8 for immediate gratification. I used to shoot a lot of flowers and plants. Again, thanks.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>Spring Flowers</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In Kern County (Bakersfield California) we go from a month of winter immediately into a month and a half of spring and then back to summer--April can be hot. We had tule fog the week before last and now it's Spring. These are some shots and certainly not prize winning photographs.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Canon R8 45mm f1.2 RF lens&lt;/P&gt;
