      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, tpella.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When scanning from the document feeder on top of the MF644Cdw, the scan settings will have an option for "2-sided original".&amp;nbsp; Ensure that is set to On before scanning.&amp;nbsp; If that setting doesn't show up when scrolling through the available options, ensure Document Feeder is selected as the source of your scan.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If controlling the scan from your computer, ensure two-sided or duplex is selected in the scan options of the software you're using to scan.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you have the i-SENSYS MF744Cdw and these directions don't work for you, then you may wish to contact &lt;U&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;A title="Canon Europe - Contact Us" href="https://www.canon-europe.com/support/consumer_products/contact_support/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Canon Europe&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/U&gt; for more specific support.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did this answer your question?       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi tpeila&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The screen on both of the locally available imageCLASS MF644Cdw and&amp;nbsp;imageCLASS MF746Cdw are showing the 2-sided option in the Scan: Email settings, leading me to believe you have the European i-SENSYS MF744Cdw.&amp;nbsp; Since the MF744Cdw is only sold outside of the U.S., I do not have specific information for it.&amp;nbsp; Contact your local branch of Canon for specific support on this model.&amp;nbsp; You may find the appropriate branch through the &lt;U&gt;&lt;FONT color="#0000FF"&gt;&lt;A title="Canon Global - Map" href="http://global.canon/en/support/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;map on the Canon Global website&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/U&gt;.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Did this answer your question?       <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi, tpeila.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;In your initial post you wrote that you were working with an MF744Cdw; at first I thought it was a typo, as your title stated MF644Cdw.&amp;nbsp; That the screen options you're seeing on the printer are not matching the screen options on the printers I can physically inspect, I have to consider that the printer in question is not of either the subject-line model (MF644Cdw) or the similar MF746Cdw, both of which are US-sold models.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please call us for further support&amp;nbsp;at 1-800-OK-CANON (652-2666), Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. ET (excluding holidays), and have the printer's serial number on hand.&amp;nbsp; The serial number may be found on the back of the printer, and may be used to identify the specific model in your posession.&amp;nbsp; Once the phone agent is able to confirm the model of printer you are using, they'll be able to provide troubleshooting regarding the lack of a 2-sided scan option, or refer you to the appropriate support.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have the MF644Cdw and I also find it perplexing that while the hardware supports duplex scanning (the reason I bought this model), the software does not!!! The only option I found was to scan duplex to JPG files, not PDF.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The solution was to use NAPS2 (naps2 dot com). I'm sure Adobe Acrobat can also do this but I don't have a subscription.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
