    <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The drivers available for W7 are mature and should function without issues on windows7 (32 or 64bit).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Why it won't run in your environment, we can only speculate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Problems with your OS or file system&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-3rd party Anti-Virus or software firewall&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Hardware or drivers issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Problems with the device itself&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Cable or connection issue&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Problem with your installation media&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Using&lt;STRONG&gt; old installtion media&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Things I noted..&amp;nbsp; you are trying to install &lt;STRONG&gt;MP Navigator v1.0&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Version 1.08&lt;/STRONG&gt; is avaiable on the Product support page for your device&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would suggest downloading the latest version of the installers for your OS from the &lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/scanners/support-scanners-canoscan-series/canoscan-8800f?subtab=downloads-software" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;8800F's Support Page&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Drivers Tab / Software tab.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;These however, may&amp;nbsp;only be a short term solution.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Windows 7 is about 45 days away from being EOL.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its time for you to consider a new OS.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Your scanner will continue to work with Windows 10, and you'll be a whole bunch safer too.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Good Luck &lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":slightly_smiling_face:"&gt;🙂&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>MP Navigator EX 1.0 not working with Windows 7</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have deleted and re-installed both my Canoscan 8800F scanner and the MP Navigator Ex 1.0 on my Windows computer using Windows 7.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The MP Navigator Ex software locked up and and now I can't open it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any suggestions for a fix?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
