    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have a Canon MF414dw printer/scanner that I purchased approximately two years ago. &amp;nbsp;I have an iMac that I just updated with Catalina 10.15. &amp;nbsp;However, now, whenenver I attempt to use the Canon scan utility, I receive the following error message:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; - "Cannot start the scanner driver while it is use by another application or user."&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have found older posts in this forum that suggested updating drivers for my printer (I tried this, but it said no new drivers were available for this operating system), as well as unplugging my printer for twenty minutes and plugging it back in. &amp;nbsp;However, nothing is working.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any advice or assistance would be greatly appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;David&lt;/P&gt;</description>
