I have recently made the mistake of buying an iB4150. I dislike it; its vilely slow and has constant issues - usually with its wireless connection which I have found fragile.

Last issue:- the printer has a needless system of registering paper types whever a cassette is opened. A pretentioius list of expensive paper types is offered - daft because its a 4-pot printer, unsuitable for photo printing.

So I always select A4 plain paper. And, of course, selec A4 plain paper when printing - except that sometimes doesn't work - you get a wrong paper spec. error. It;s consistent with certain documents even though I am printing via the driver dialog and taking care to select 'Plain Paper'. And it won't print.

The only work-around is to use a different printer.

Any ideas? before this hopeless object goes in the garbage.
