Have a new MF416dw first cartridge change prints all black pages

My new printer MF416 printer came time to replace the cart and put in a new Cannon factory cart 119 and now with the new cart it wants to print solid black pages ?

Put back in original cartrage works fine so i got hold of another one and did the samre thing what is the issue?

Now these thing are pretty expensive and they can not all be bad !

Hi woffler.

Please remove the toner cartridge and set it aside. Next, close the toner cover door, and then turn the printer off. Unplug the printer from the wall for two minutes. Once the printer is plugged back in, turn the machine back on and wait for the "Insert toner cartridge" message. Please reseat the new cartridge and then make a copy.
