Error when scanning into paint program

I have an MF726CDW which is on my network. I'm trying to scan into a paint program but I'm getting an error message "Internal program error: An invalid parameter has been passed to a function".

I have the latest drivers installed to include the MFScan Utility and the NetworkUSBScanPatch. I've contacted the manufacturer of the paint program and sent them a screenshot of the error message, but I have a feeling it has nothing to do with the paint program. I'm just trying to cover all my bases and hopefully, somebody here can help with the problem.

Thanks in advance
