Hi there,

I have never tried to scan wirelessly. I assume it is possibly to scan wirelessly with the MF4780w.

I am able to print wirelessly, but so far I have had no luck to get it to scan. Can anyone please help me? Maybe I need to be guided through the setup process to help with wireless scanning.

I primarly use a PC (Windows 10) to print and scan. From time to time I use a laptop to print (wirelessly) and would like to use it to scan wirelessly too.

I don't know what information is required to assist me, but I am very happy to supply it.

Many thanks

This has been solved.

I did a fair bit of searching online and discovered that I needed the Canon MF Network Scan Utility. I finaly found a Canon website where I could download it. However, after installaion I got error code: 9,230,0, which I resolved following the instructions on the webpage i.e. turn off Let Windows manage my default printer, and reinstall my drivers. I found the drivers here.

After following the above steps and restarting my PC, I can now scan wirelessly.
