How do I change my scans from going to image to pdf on my MF733CDW?

To scan to PDF it is recommended you do so using the MF Scan Utility software. Please click HERE for scanning instructions. Ensure you switch the "Data Format" to reflect you are doing PDF.

Is there any way to make this a default? or must it be chosen each time?

You can change the default save destination from the MF Scan Utility. For more information, click [Instructions] on MF Scan Utility. Additionally, click HERE for additional information.

Note: ScanGear MF is a scanner driver included with the machine. You can use ScanGear MF to configure advanced scan settings when you scan. The way of starting ScanGear MF differs depending of the way of scanning from the computer. Please click HERE for information on using ScangGear MF.
