A client bought some off-brand toner cartridges on Amazon. Magenta has leaked. Cyan and yellow seem to be OK so far.

Printed pages are seriously clouded with magenta. Rubber roller at back of unit has magenta on it. I don't see any on the transfer sheet.

Where to begin this cleanup and recovery? Does anyone have a guide to remediating this problem?

They re-installed the original Canon carts, and even though they were low, the schmearing stopped.
