When I use my scanner to fax, attach an to an email, or copy i get blue and gray vertical lines all over my page. I have ran various self cleanings, but nothing has been succesful. Any tips on how to clean the inside of the scanner? Is that even possible?

Hi Big_Valley,

Neither faxing nor scanning uses the inside of the printer, so there may be defects on the platen glass or ADF reference area. If you scan two sheets of blank paper, do the blue and gray marks appear in the same places on both pages?

Yes, they make the marks on a blank page. i have cleaned the glass but there was no improvement.
