the canon software is giving the following message when I try to print a pdf (pdf in booklet format ie. 2 pages onto an a4 page). "Data Transfer to the printer time out, or a transfer error has occured. Click [Resolve Error] to resume printing, or click [Cancel] after pausing the job, then try to print again". Drivers have been uninstalled and reinstalled, pc checked for malware/virus. I removed the printer again, restarted pc, re-installed drivers, but it came back. Other than rebuilding the computer, can anyone shed any light on the error message?

windows vista sp2

dell pc

usb connection
