    <description>Do you see the scanner in the USB section of System Profiler? If no, either power or usb cable isn't proper. if yes, driver is the issue.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Assuming this is with you using the included software?</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, My mac was updraded OS to 10.12.6.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I already downloaded lastest firmware for the&amp;nbsp;CanoScan 9000F mark II.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But after I installed the driver, it cannot performed. It showed&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Scanner reported an error&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;- Scanner is turned off.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;- USB cable is disconnected.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p2"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P class="p1"&gt;Please check and try again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;IMG src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/14764iA5D856433729321B/image-size/original?v=1.0&amp;amp;px=-1" border="0" alt="“SS” 2560-11-07 at 5.56.33 PM.jpg" title="“SS” 2560-11-07 at 5.56.33 PM.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I tried to find the solutions but it didn't work.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please help me to use the scanner, Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanat.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I'm having the same issue. I do acquire an image in Image Capture and I have tried deleting the CanoScan 9000f from the Image Capture Devices list, but I still can't use ScanGear which is annoying because I'm trying to scan film.</description>
