    <description>&lt;P&gt;hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;I have a canon mf735cx, i have to send a scan via email.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I configured smtp server, sending mailbox and its pwd, screenshots attached.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;if I scan and then choose recipient email, I get error #753.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;it is related to settigs tcp/ip, but the printer is online and everybody print from lan...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;the only thing, I have not found a way to set SSL, and having gmail as starting email maybe it is needed...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;someone can help?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>You're correct, gmail servers do require SSL. This should be configurable right below where you specified the smtp server username and password in your printer settings.</description>
