https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/Office-Printers/mf8580cdw-re-purposeable/m-p/211604#M6078 <P>Like many in my "neighborhood" , I don't have a landline which means I no longer have fax capability. &nbsp;</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I have never been wild about this machine: &nbsp;I have never been able to scan to a computer (and not for lack of trying), my son figured out how to scan to a usb drive and then load it, but that should be the backup, not the only way. &nbsp;The fax is very clunky even with a landline-- putting in addresses is like using 1st gen cell tech.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>So I am at the point that I want something that can scan to/from my chromebook or cell in the other room and print or fax that gdocs. . &nbsp;I want full throated fax and scan from/to my chromebook or cell phone.
