topic Canon MB2320 Email Attachment in Office Printers

I have a user that scan directly to outlook mail. Fill out the body, check the attachment and then hit send. The problem is the attachment is there but the message is not on the the other end of message. Using outlook 2016, what setting do I need to check or enable?

Hello.

When the scanning software sends an image to a program such as Outlook, it simply causes the program to create a new email and attach the file to the new message. You can then type out your desired information before sending the email. It cannot attach a scan to an existing message or one that is already being composed.

If you need additional assistance, find more help at Contact Us.
