Hello skylygal.

Unless you are referring to a specific function in Publisher, you may have been using the 'Poster' option to print an image on multiple sheets of paper. Please try the following:

1. Click File and choose Print.

2. In the Print menu, select the MX870 and choose Properties or Preferences.

3. In the Main tab, choose the appropriate media type and quality options.

4. In the Page Setup tab, change the 'Page Layout' option to 'Poster'. Click the 'Specify' button to set your desired division setting.

Once this has been done, try printing to test the adjustment.

This didn't answer your question or issue?

Printing with Pixma mx870 - How do you set up to print an oversized image from publisher on multiple pages? I did this once and can't figure out how to do it again. One image printed out on 6 letter sized pieces of paper. No borders, all perfectly aligned. I taped 6 pieces of paper together, edges to edge, and got a perfectly enlarged image. Can someone send instructions to do this?
