Software won't find Canon MF724Cdw

Good evening everybody,

I'm having a bit of a trouble installing the driver of this printer (Canon MF724Cdw) on my laptop.

I successfully installed it on some other ones but on this one I did set up the printer on Windows and it works as a printer, but I would like to also install the Canon driver to use the scanner and all the other functions from the laptop (as I did on other computers too).

The routine I followed for each computer is:

1) Set the exceptions through printer IP in the firewall

2) Run software

3) Find printer through IP

4) Install

This time, I'm getting stuck on number 3, the software doesn't find the printer. However the Windows Driver did with the same IP.

Tried pinging the printer but won't get any response anyway...
